Visting New York. Where to eat?

I am obsessed with food. Its  a problem. I love to eat and new york city is a eater's paradise. If you are visiting new york, here are some recommendations for yummy new york meals. In no particular order of preference:

-Porchetta: Roast pork sandwich (Die!!!!)

-Momofuku Ko: spent a ridiculous amount of $$$, also the reservation system business leaves much to be desired but this was totally worth every penny.

-Scarpetta: everything was delish....especially the polenta.

-Ushiwakamaru--love. Sit in front of the head chef for the very best of service.

-Sripraphai--divine thai food.  you will love. especially the pork leg. worth the trip to queens.

-socarrat paella --chelsea sucks for food but this new addition to the culinary landscape rocks.
